Christina’s path into cinematography began with curiosity and persistence. Growing up in a small town in southern rural Ontario, she discovered filmmaking through photography, behind-the-scenes features, and a camera she found in her dad’s closet. That early experimentation led her to film school at the University of Windsor and an early start shooting and directing music videos while still a student.
Visual Style:
Christina is story-first and highly collaborative. Her process is rooted in strong prep, clear visual communication, and building an environment that allows for flexibility on set. With the groundwork in place, she embraces natural moments and adapts intuitively while staying true to the story.
Preferred Camera Package:
Christina favors Sony cameras for their dynamic range, internal ND, and adaptability. Ultra Primes serve as a reliable, neutral base, with Leica R lenses available when a more vintage character is needed.
