The Cartoni Lambda Nodal Swing Head is a precision-engineered fluid head designed for digital cinema cameras and 35mm film cameras equipped with long lenses, matte boxes, and large film magazines. Built for maximum flexibility, the Lambda mounts easily on tripods, dollies, cranes, and camera cars, and can also be inverted for underslung setups, allowing the camera to reach ground level with complete accuracy.

The nodal balance system ensures the camera swings on its true center of gravity, providing smooth, precise movement with 360° vertical axis rotation. Unlike traditional heads, the Lambda requires no springs or counterbalance elements, delivering a natural and consistent feel across both pan and tilt.

Featuring Cartoni’s patented fluid drag control system, the Lambda offers identical drag response on both pan and tilt for seamless operation.
